Mentors

(50 points - Multiple Deadlines)

Image to motivate mentoring

Each of you will be assigned a student mentor via email. Please reach out to your mentor anytime over the semester let them know how you are doing. They are a great resource if you get stuck or need help with anything.

In order to get credit for this assignment you need to do the following:

  1. Meet with your mentor (over zoom or in person) in the first 2-3 weeks of class. This meeting doesn’t have to be all that formal, just get to know each other. Some mentors may schedule this meeting as a “group” meeting so they can get to know all of their mentees at the same time (this is fine).
  2. Connect with your mentor if you have any questions though out the semester. You are encouraged to send them weekly 3x3 reports or just check in if they reach out.
  3. Meet one final time with your mentor at the end of the semester and fill out the end of semester mentor/mentee form. Send the complete form to your mentor. Your mentor will check over the form and assuming everything looks good will forward it to me for credit.
